Pre-telling

Activity: parts of the school

The teacher will draw on the board a plane with parts of the school. The teacher has a doll that she moves through all the parts of the school, while she is asking them where is the doll. For teach that we will use the structure:

Question: “Where is the doll?”

Answer: “She is at the playground”.

While-telling

Activity: routines song

During the story we asked students what routines they performed before coming to school. Then, we will put a song about routines and they have to repeat and do the action of what the song says.

Post-telling

Activity: Simon says

Simon says is an action game. As children play, they will learn the names of school materials and how to give instructions.
